What is the PASSPORT program?
An Ohio Medicaid waiver that helps older adults receive care in their homes instead of a nursing facility. It provides services like personal care, homemaking, meal preparation, and more!
What types of services does TrueCare provide?
We provide a range of non-medical, in-home services including:
Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Homemaking (laundry, cleaning, meal prep)
Respite care for family caregivers
Companionship and safety support
All services are authorized through your PASSPORT care plan.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Franklin County and surrounding areas in central Ohio. If you’re unsure whether we serve your location, please contact us to confirm.
Who is eligible for services?
Individuals must qualify for the PASSPORT program through the Area Agency on Aging. Eligibility is based on age, health needs, and income. Your care manager will help determine which services you can receive.
What insurance plans does TrueCare accept?
We are a Passport Waiver-only agency and proudly serve clients enrolled in the MyCare Ohio plans. We accept all four MyCare plans that will be included in the new MyCare program next year.
We do not accept private pay or other insurance plans.

How do I start receiving services with TrueCare?
If you’re already in the PASSPORT or MyCare program, contact your case manager and request TrueCare Home Services Inc as your chosen provider.
If you’re not yet enrolled, reach out to your local Area Agency on Aging to begin the eligibility process.
Do you offer 24-hour care or live-in services?
We currently offer hourly, part-time, and flexible scheduling options based on your approved care plan. Around-the-clock or live-in care may be available depending on authorization from your program.
